Meet Brian Pollard
Brian Pollard is the parent of 2 elementary students in LISD, a small business owner and a retired educator of 30 years running for the Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees to bring responsible leadership that keeps our schools strong and student focused.
Brian and his family are active members of the community and are deeply invested in the success of local schools. As a parent with children in the district, he understands firsthand the importance of safe, high-quality classrooms that prepare students for the future.
As a small business owner, Brian knows the value of fiscal responsibility, disciplined budgeting, and long-term planning. He believes school districts must operate with the same care and accountability families and businesses rely on every day. His background as a former educator gives him practical classroom perspective and respect for the challenges teachers and students face.
Brian is running to support students, families, and educators while ensuring district decisions are made with transparency, accountability, and financial responsibility. His focus is simple: protect the strength of our schools, prioritize student success, and provide steady leadership the community can trust.
Core Principles
Strong Classrooms
Strong classrooms require clear academic standards, consistent instructional quality, and alignment between resources and student learning. Leadership must protect instructional time and align decisions with measurable academic progress. Resources should maximize time on-task and strengthen direct instruction.
Strong Finances
Strong finances require disciplined budgeting, transparent governance, and sustainable long-term planning. Spending must align with strategic priorities and produce measurable value. Careful stewardship protects both academic strength and long-term financial stability.
Strong Students
Strong students emerge when excellence is prioritized district-wide. Leadership must uphold consistent expectations and provide the foundation for students from all backgrounds to pursue success in college, careers, military service, and civic life.
